Performed Linux patching for dozens of manufacturing clients under RedHat and CentOS distributions from RHEL 3,4,5 & 6, to various CentOS versions. In some cases for production (per request) I developed the implementation plan for Change Management and capture screenshots and other related before and after documentation. Also implemented several autoupdate jobs for them in cron.
Implemented Nagios/Icinga monitoring for manufacturing clients using QAD system including authoring and implemeting customized QAD monitoring plug-ins.
Created several virtual linux servers for manufacturing clients running QAD software. Implemented protected VM backup/recovery a custom offering I helped develop for SIG that quiesces the databases prior to the snapshot and reactivates after the snapshot is completed.
Update VMware tools regularly as well as ESXi hosts in their clients and SIG's in-house VCenters.
Migrated multiple client's in-house mail servers to Office 365.
Implemented CAPP compliance; sudo, auditd, ssh root lockdowns.
